French Chamber awarded Caring Company title

French Chamber awarded Caring Company title

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong is proud to announce that it has been awarded the title of ‘Caring Company’ by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services (HKCSS). Having our work recognised in such a manner is a huge honour for the Chamber as we continue to strive to be a socially responsible company.

In particular, the involvement with the French Chamber Foundation highlights this commitment to giving back to the local Hong Kong community. The initiative remains a source of immense pride for us and our members.

Launched by the HKCSS in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme (the Scheme) aims to cultivate responsible corporate citizenship. It is specifically geared towards building strategic partnerships among businesses and non-profit organisations to create a more cohesive society.

The Scheme also endeavours to promote partnerships between the business and the social welfare sectors. Through cross-sectoral activities and exchanges, the two sectors can get to know and understand each other and develop community projects matching community needs.

  • Last year, 3,222 companies and organisations were awarded the Caring Company Logo, or Caring Organisation Logo, as a way of acknowledging their commitment to being socially responsible.
  • Objectives

To raise awareness of good corporate citizenship in the business and public sectors and promoting their contribution to a more ‘caring’ community.

To motivate strategic partnership initiatives among public, business and charitable organisations.
