[Successful Job Matching ‧ Improving livelihoods]

Ali comes from a grassroot family and lives in a subdivided apartment. In the past, her husband was the breadwinner but only earned a meager income. As she also needs to take care of her son, she can only work part-time with flexible hours. However, due to the pandemic and the high unemployment rate, she could not find a suitable job.

Fortunately, with MIW’s referral, Ali is now working part-time at the Tsuen Wan Centre with flexible working hours. The job met her requirements and alleviated her financial pressure.

Ali shared, “Through my job I can reach different service users and volunteers which helps broaden my horizons. I am very satisfied!”
