[The story of Siu Fa]

Siu Fa used to be a salesperson but an accident left her unable to continue this job. At the same time, she had to take care of her husband who was suffering from dementia. Fortunately, she found MIW, whose services helped her overcome the difficulties and pressures of her situation. With MIW, Siu Fa has not only found career information, but also mental support and care to relieve her anxiety and financial worries.

To help Siu Fa build up her confidence, we invited her to become one of our volunteers to help distribute daily necessities to people in need during the epidemic. She shared with us that she received a lot of encouragement from MIW’s staff which motivated her to conquer her depression at the time. We are thankful that Siu Fa transformed into a much more engaged and positive person. She is now actively seeking a new job and has learnt to face difficulties with a positive attitude.
